In US & Australia ,Greeks tends to follow tradition of the country they live,so the groom waits at the alter.

The way the Church does it is to have the bride and groom enter the church together, as equals. There is no exchange of “property” from man to man, just the man and woman side by side.

The violins were playing as we walked…but i cant remember if we followed them, or they followed us… i think we followed them so they were ‘letting everyone know we were coming’.
