My boyfriend jokes with me about this and has always said that he will step on my foot on our wedding day. Now i can tell him not to bother...because it is my job   ;-)

I guess people have different interpretations about these things. Traditions change over time and mean different things to different people.]]></description>

This has been twisted during the last decades and according to the bride&#039;s temperament sometimes it is customary to step on her husband&#039;s foot when the priest is reading this part. Therefore the stepping is done only from the brides.]]></description>
