I don’t speak Greek, nor can i read or write it.
However it would be nice to understand the old folk songs that are sung at Greek Wedding Rituals. So please help to revise these lyrics so that we can all sing along.

Means: Today we’re having a wedding/In a beautiful nest.

Means: Today the mother parts from the daughter.
