My name is Aspasia Mavris and I love Greek weddings.  

My sister is about to get married and i am going to be the Koumbara. In an effort to help my sister plan her big fat Greek wedding, i have tried to find information in a book or on the web about Greek wedding traditions but not even amazon.com had anything helpful.

This blog is my attempt not only to help my sister with her wedding plans but to also help others understand the history and relevance behind Greek wedding traditions.
